As you will have gathered by now, I am the girliest of girls. I love nail polish and products. That includes my nails – both fingers and toes always being painted.
I get my nails done regularly at a salon, but that doesn’t stop me from a little colour change in between visits to spice things up! (Did you know you can paint over Shellac and then remove using acetone free polish remover!?)
Roxanne Campbell is a Celebrity nail expert with over eleven years experience in the industry. She painted nails for gold medalists in the athlete’s villlage at London 2012 and she has even created nail designs for singer-songwriter Adele and supermodel Jourdan Dunn.
Roxanne spotted a gap in the market and was inspired to create her own line of luxury one coat nail lacquers, which are each influenced and inspired by fashion icons and seasonal trends.
I was very kindly sent two nail lacquers in gorgeous shades from the Summer Collection to try.
The packaging of the nail lacquers is very elegant, and reminds me of what you would expect when buying from a high-end designer brand. These will be sitting proudly on display on my dressing table.
Roxanne claims her luxury nail lacquers only require one coat… And I’m glad to say that claim is totally true! (I applied two coats on two nails that I have darker coloured shellac on, but all other nails I only applied one coat on). These nail lacquers honestly apply like a dream.
Of course when I saw I had been sent this fabulous bubblegum pink shade, I was delighted. Pink is my favourite colour, in case you hadn’t guessed, and this bright shade is absolutely perfect for summer.
Off to Jamaica
As in the name, you can just imagine yourself sipping cocktails on a tropical island with this shade on. It is a bright tangerine shade, again, ideal for the summer season. This shade will look amazing with a tan (whether from the Jamaican sun, or not!)
Roxanne Campbell Luxury One Coat Nail Lacquers are cruelty free, three free (free from formaldehyde, toluene and camphor) and are made here in the UK.
These Luxury Nail Lacquers are very reasonably priced at £10 each, and if you’d like to check out the full range, you can do so here.
